Professor Jianzhong Luo holds a Ph.D. in forest genetics and breeding. He works for the Chinese Academy of Forestry, where he is the director of the breeding research department and is engaged in the breeding of fast-growing trees. He has published more than 100 papers and presided over 10 national research projects. He has also bred 11 new national plant varieties.
