Irsyadi Yani (Corresponding author) was born in South Sumatra, Indonesia, on December 25th, 1971. He has worked as a lecturer for the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatra, since 1997. He received the B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sriwijaya, Indonesia, and the M.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology, Japan. He completed his PhD at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). His research interests lie in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Automatic Sorting Systems, and Finite Element Analysis. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines of Engineering and Science, particularly Automatic Control Systems, Bio Materials, and Numerical Analysis in Mechanical Engineering. He have publication had published in: Science and Technology Indonesia; Mathematics; Biomedicines; Engineering Letters; CFD Letters; Membranes; Lecture Notes in Mechanical Engineering; ARPN Journal of Engineering and Applied Sciences; and several seminar proceedings.
