I am Dr. Eman A. M. Helmy currently hold a Position of Professor of Microbiology and Biotechnology at the Regional Center for Mycology and Biotechnology, (RCMB), Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt Working as the head of the Nano-biotechnology unit, a member of the Biological activity unit as well as I am the head Treasure of the Culture Collection Unit of the RCMB.Concerning the Academic Profile, I published over than 60 peer-reviewed articles (Local and international), one book, and three book chapters over the last ten years. I am a member of the editorial board of some peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Agricultural Science and Technology, Modern Environmental Science and Engineering, International Journal of Nanotechnology and Allied Sciences, International Journal of Molecular Biology, Journal of Nanoparticle Research, Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Science and finally Erciyes Medical Journal. My Field of Specialization includes; Microbial Biotechnology, Nano-biotechnology, Microbiology, Mycology, Bioanalytical Chemistry, Metabolomics, Molecular Biology, and Proteins, as well as Fungal Systematics and Chemotaxonomy, Bioactivity of Natural Products and Secondary Metabolites, Probiotic yeasts and Bacteria.Practically, I have Experienced in next-generation sequencing, and cellular and molecular biology techniques (electrophoresis, western blot, cellular protein spectrophotometric analysis, genomics, PCR, RT-PCR).
