Afra Masià-Plana currently holds the position of researcher and lecturer at the faculty of Nursing at University of Girona, Spain. Afra is a Registered Nurse since 2002 and psychologist (2006), with master’s degree (2007) in psychological research in Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona. In 2019, Afra defended their doctoral thesis, achieving Excellence as a punctuation in University of Girona, Spain. Afra’s work experience is national (Spanish) and international (Australia) as a registered nurse. Currently, she is doing research on health literacy related to health conditions. Afra is a member of the scientific board of the European Dialysis and Transplant Nursing Association/European Renal Care Association (EDTNA/ERCA) and she is a member of the consolidated research group GRCT0060-Health and health care and member of the faculty of nursing at the University of Girona, Spain. Member of the Teaching Innovation Network of the University of Girona, specifically working on the evaluation strategies to university students.
