Gledson Luiz Pontes de Almeida has been an Adjunct Professor at the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco since May 2010. He holds a degree in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2007) and Civil Engineering from the Maurício de Nassau University Center (2018). He holds a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2009). He holds a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (2013), with a period of study at the University of Évora. He worked as a Rural Extensionist at the Agronomic Institute of Pernambuco (2007 to 2008). He works in the area of Agricultural Engineering, with an emphasis on Rural Construction and Ambience. He received the CNPq Research Productivity Scholarship. As a professor, he teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is an advisor for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Agricultural Engineering/UFRPE. He is an area editor for the Journal of Neotropical Agriculture and an ad hoc reviewer of journals.
