Professor, Ph.D. (Prof. Dr. hab. inż) Bożena Gajdzik is a full Professor , the place of work: Faculty of Materials Engineering and Digitalisation of Industry, Department of Industrial Informatics, Silesian University of Technology.  She collaborates with business practices, particularly within the steel industry, including collaboration as an expert. She has experience in the restructuring of steel enterprises and has been used as expert knowledge. She is an expert in the program for sustainable development and research projects on industrial transformation. She is now interested in Industry 4.0 in the steel industry in Poland. Her research interests include restructuring, Industry 4.0, digitalisation, decarbonisation, energy intensity, steel manufacturing, green steel, etc.  Author of 650 publications, including 32 books. Her name is on the list of Top 2 World Scientists (Stanford list).
