Monika Sikora received her PhD in biological sciences at Kielce University of Jan Kochanowski in 2023 and is now pursuing the biomaterials and nanotechnology topic in the biomaterials group. She works as chief specialist for research and science at Łukasiewicz Research Network—Łódź Institute of Technology (2018–2024). Her research topics mainly include biomaterials, biopolymers, and the biological activity of biopolymers, mainly chitosan and its modifications.
