Prof. Remus Brad

Remus Brad earned his Computer Science Engineering Diploma from the University of Sibiu (ULBS), Romania, in 1993, and completed his M.Sc. degree in Artificial Intelligence at Université "Pierre et Marie Curie" in Paris, France, in 1995. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania, in 2003, and was granted an Habilitation for conducting Ph.D. studies in 2015. Currently, Remus Brad serves as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at ULBS, where he has been a member since 1994. He is also a Senior Member of the IEEE. With specialization and active research in Computer Networks Design, Advanced Computer Communication, Image Processing, and Computer Vision, he has contributed to numerous prestigious international journals and conferences with books and scientific papers. His ongoing research interests span Image Processing, Motion Estimation, Medical Imaging, Cybersecurity, and Networking.
