Patrick Schober is professor of Anesthesiology, in particular Emergency Medicine, at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers (Amsterdam UMC) as well as a Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS) physician at the Ambulance Helicopter Lifeliner 1 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. His research focuses on acute and emergency medicine in anesthesiology and prehosptial care. Research projects include assessment and stabilization of vital functions incuding hemodynamics and respiration, managment of severe trauma and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
