Dr. Akimasa Tsujimoto is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the Aichi Gakuin University School of Dentistry. He qualified in dentistry at the Nihon University School of Dentistry in Japan, received his PhD in Operative Dentistry, and holds a tenured Associate Professorship at the same university. Then, he became Associate Professor of the
Department of Operative Dentistry at University of Iowa College of Dentistry before
leaving in 2023 to take up his current post.. Now, he also holds a Visiting Professorship at University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Creighton University School of Dentistry and an Honorary Professorship at Hong Kong University Faculty of Dentistry.
He is a fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics and has board certifications from the Japanese Society of Conservative Dentistry, Japan Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, and Japan Society of Adhesive Dentistry. His clinical practice emphasizes minimally invasive esthetic dentistry and he holds American Board Esthetic Dentistry.
