Igor A. Khlusov was born in 1963. He graduated from the Siberian State Medical University (formerly Tomsk State Medical Institute, Tomsk), Faculty of Medicine and Biology in 1986, received his Ph.D. in Medicine from the Institute of Pharmacology (Tomsk) in 1991, and his D.Sc. (Pathophysiology) degree from Tomsk State Medical University in 1996. He has been a Professor since 2007. His research interests relate to stem cell investigation, tissue bioengineering, and regenerative medicine.
