Fei Xie

Prof. Fei Xie

Biography

Dr. Fei Xie is currently a researcher and faculty member at the College of Chemistry and Life Sciences, Beijing University of Technology, China. His primary research interests focus on Hydrogen Medicine, specifically investigating the molecular mechanisms of molecular hydrogen (H2) in regulating cellular metabolism and mitochondrial function. Dr. Xie's work integrates multi-omics data analysis and bioinformatics to explore the therapeutic potential of hydrogen in treating critical conditions such as ischemic stroke and various cancers (including lung cancer and oral squamous cell carcinoma). He is particularly interested in how gas-signaling molecules influence mitochondrial bioenergetics and NADPH metabolism to mitigate oxidative stress and inflammation. In addition to his wet-lab research, Dr. Xie is actively involved in developing AI-driven medical solutions and has contributed to the understanding of gene regulation in disease models. He is dedicated to translating molecular insights into clinical disease interventions.
