Maria Gialeli is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Food Science and Nutrition of the University of the Aegean. She studies the complex relationship between sustainable diets and agri-food systems and their role in human well-being. She is a multidisciplinary scientist whose bachelor's studies are in International Relations and Economics, and her MSc is in Environmental Policy and Management. Her current research focuses on the complex relationship between sustainable diets and agri-food systems and their role in the promotion of human well-being.
