Biography
András Máté-Tóth received his PhD in Theology from the University of Vienna in 1991 and his degree in Linguistics from the University of Pécs, Hungary, in 2011. He has been a professor at the Institute for the Study of Religions at the University of Szeged (Hungary) since 2000. His research topics mainly include the theory of religions and the transformations of religion and the Church in Central and Eastern Europe.
