Dr. Tapan A. Patel is an Instructor / Postdoc Research Associate at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), Omaha, Nebraska, USA. He was an Assistant Professor at Indian Institute of Teachers Education from 2015 to 2018, and an Assistant Professor at Charotar University of Science and Technology from 2018 to 2022. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees at Gujarat University, India in 2004 and 2006, and his Ph.D. in Science (Zoology) at Gujarat University in 2011. His career goal is to develop therapeutic approaches and define molecular mechanisms to control non-communicable and oxidative stress-associated diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, neurological diseases, and cardio-renal syndrome.
