Mónica Espinoza-Rojo is a researcher at the Autonomous
University of Guerrero in Chilpancingo, Mexico. She holds a Doctorate in Sciences
with a specialty in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the Center for Research
and Advanced Studies of the IPN (CINVESTAV), a Master of Science with a
specialty in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the same institution, and a
degree in Chemist Biologist Parasitologist from the Universidad Autónoma
Guerrero. She is a member of the National System of Researchers, Level I, and
has received uninterrupted recognition of desirable PRODEP Profile from the
Secretary of Public Education from 2015 to 2018. She is also a member of the
State System of Researchers of the Council of Science, Technology, and
Innovation of the state of Guerrero, as well as a member of the Technical
Commission of the Health area of the State Council of Science and Technology,
State of Guerrero from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, she is a member of the
Consolidated Academic Body of Molecular Biomedicine and the College of Chemists
of the State of Guerrero.
