Elena Solomou received an MD and a Ph.D. from the University of Athens Medical School. She completed her Postdoctoral Fellow from the Department of Cellular Injury, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Silver Spring, Maryland, USA, and Hematology Branch, National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health (ΝΙΗ). She is currently a Lecturer in Internal Medicine, University of Patras Medical School. Her research interests include the role of T cells in cancer biology; bone marrow failure pathophysiology; and human T cell physiology.
