Entrepreneurship education (EE) plays a vital role in fostering an entrepreneurial culture and promoting the growth of the small- and medium-sized business sector in a nation. Research on EE has advanced extremely rapidly in the last two decades. These changes are evident not only in the quantity of published works but also in the evolving methods of academic communication, the rise of emerging nations as prominent contributors to EE research, and the shifting areas of focus in study themes. This current study aims to provide a comprehensive picture of these processes based on a big-data-centred bibliometric analysis of a corpus of 3787 articles that appeared in the Web of Science literature database. The bibliographic metadata was analysed using Biblioshiny, CitNetExplorer, and VOSviewer. To understand the most significant development trends, researchers employed the triangulation method, which included scientific mapping and epistemological analysis in addition to standard tools of bibliometric analysis. This has led to the identification of some study needs. First, improving EE methods in secondary school curricula; second, EE in adult education and the practicality of the findings for andragogy; third, EE in least developed countries and its unique challenges; fourth, combining EE with internet-based, innovative training and education approaches like gamification and simulations; fifth, EE’s role and methodological development in societal economic integration; and sixth, women’s unique EE requirements. On top of that, this study provides the basis for policymakers and practitioners to consider incorporating entrepreneurial education programmes, which can help to create a prosperous entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The aim of this article is to identify, synthesize, and evaluate the existing research on the nexus of the SE–crowdfunding domain. The researchers used a variety of bibliometric tools, Biblioshiny, and VOSviewer, to examine the scholarly literature on SE and crowdfunding from 2013 through 2022. The data were gathered from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, and the researchers ultimately collected 105 documents for the analysis. As can be seen from the findings, there has been a steady increase in the number of articles published in SE crowdfunding throughout the past decade. The USA seems to be the main research region for SE–crowdfunding literature. Both of the most prolific writers, Maija Renkor and Aaron H. Anglin, are also from the USA. The results also show that the Journal of Business Venturing Insights ranks first for most productive sources, followed by Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Business Horizons, Sustainability, and the Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal. The temporal diagram of co-occurrence analysis indicates that performance, impact, altruism, motivation, and commercialization are emerging topics in the SE–crowdfunding research field. Moreover, the result of the co-citation analysis found four themes in the SE–crowdfunding domain. These include ‘crowdfunding for social entrepreneurship’, ‘impact investing in social enterprises’, ‘crowdfunding as an innovative way to fund social entrepreneurship’, and ‘social innovation and crowdfunding’. In addition, the article provides a helpful starting point for policymakers and practitioners involved in obtaining funds for SE through crowdfunding by considering the associated technological, administrative, and organizational consequences.

This study examines the relationships between risk-taking propensity (RTP), entrepreneurship education support (EES), need for achievement (NFA), and entrepreneurial intentions (EI) of Bangladeshi university students, as well as the mediating roles of attitude toward entrepreneurship (ATE), subjective norms (SN), and perceived behavioral control (PBC). Using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM), the study was conducted with a sample of 381 respondents. Results show that attitudes play a mediating role in the relationship between RTP and EI, and RTP has a direct positive effect on attitudes toward entrepreneurship and EI. Although EES does not have a direct effect on EI, it does have a positive effect on all other components of the theory of planned behavior (TPB), which in turn influences EI. Perceived behavioral control and attitudes toward entrepreneurship serve as full mediators of the EES-EI connection. Subjective norms, on the other hand, have no relationship with EI and do not serve as a mediator between the EES and EI relationship. However, NFA and EI do not have a direct relationship; NFA influences EI indirectly via perceived behavioral control, which in turn influences EI directly. This research contributes to the existing literature by offering significant theoretical and practical insights into the factors that influence entrepreneurial intentions among university students in developing economies.

This study explores the relationship between entrepreneurial education (EE) and sustainable entrepreneurial intention (SEI) among university students in Bangladesh, highlighting the mediating role of attitude toward sustainable entrepreneurship (ATSE) and the moderating effects of prior entrepreneurial experience (PEE). The study employs a quantitative methodology based on the theory of planned behavior and human capital theory. The analysis used a sample of 600 respondents, employing partial least squares structural equation modelling with SmartPLS4. The results demonstrate that EE has a significantly positive impact on SEI, indicating that students who receive an EE are more likely to foster SEI. The findings also reveal that attitude partially mediates the relationship between EE and SEI, indicating that EE improves students’ attitude toward sustainability, which, in turn, strengthens their SEI. Additionally, EE has a direct positive effect on students’ attitude toward sustainability, reinforcing the role of EE in shaping their attitude to sustainable entrepreneurship. The findings also indicate that PEE moderates the relationship between EE and ATSE, suggesting that students with PEE develop stronger positive attitudes toward sustainability. This finding highlights the importance of hands-on experience in reinforcing the impact of EE. The findings contribute to the literature by highlighting the importance of EE in fostering SEI and by offering practical insights for incorporating sustainability into entrepreneurship programs. The inclusion of sustainability in EE combined with experiential learning can effectively foster sustainable entrepreneurial mindsets and intentions of university students in Bangladesh.

Impact investing and sustainable finance are crucial in addressing social and environmental issues while developing a more resilient, equitable, and sustainable world. The purpose of this article is to analyze, synthesize, and evaluate the existing literature on the impact investing and sustainable finance research domain. Using PRISMA protocol, data was extracted from the Web of Science and Scopus databases, resulting in the compilation of 498 documents. Researchers use Biblioshiny and VOSviewer to analyze the bibliographic meta data. The findings show that the number of publications in this field has increased significantly over the last five years. In terms of journal productivity, Sustainability is the most prominent source, followed by Resources Policy and Journal of Cleaner Production. The results indicate that China published 189 articles, securing the first position, followed by India with 82 articles and the UK with 72 articles. Thematic map analysis underscores the significance of impact investing in renewable energy for sustainable economic growth. In addition, four research themes have emerged from the co-occurrence of keywords analysis. These themes are “sustainable finance for sustainable economic development”; “the rise of ESG investing in the changing world”; “corporate governance and CSR in enhancing firm performance”; and “mobilizing sustainable finance to tackle climate changes”. Furthermore, the research gives a complete summary of current research trends, future research directions and policy recommendations to assist academic researchers, investors, policymakers, business organizations and financial institutions in better understanding the impact investment and sustainable finance.

The clothing industry greatly impacts the global economy by producing billions of pieces of clothing and employing millions. However, it negatively impacts the environment, as it is one of the most polluting sectors in the world. This bibliometric review aims to identify influential authors and affiliations, journals, productive and cited countries, emerging and recent themes, and future research directions focusing on the dynamics of clothing brands’ sustainability practices. A comprehensive dataset from Scopus and the Web of Science contains 612 articles, and Biblioshiny and VOSviewer were used to analyze the data. Findings reveal that sustainability is not just a concern for developed countries but is also gaining attention in emerging economies like India. This bibliometric analysis presents its relationship with sustainable development goals (SDGs), combines performance analysis and science mapping of clothing brands’ sustainability practices, and evaluates thematic clusters to highlight future research scopes to fill the literature gap for further concentration on behavioral aspects, advanced supply chains, effective communication, and promoting the usage of sustainable technologies, which can help to align with business models for sustainability and resilience. Therefore, clothing brands’ sustainability practices should focus on smart and functional clothing through eco-friendly manufacturing and designing long-lasting clothes to enrich clothing performance. They should adopt innovative technologies for resource utilization, recycling, waste management, supply chain, and also emphasize communication with the consumers to encourage them to purchase eco-friendly and long-lasting clothes.
