Rita Patakfalvi graduated in Chemistry at the József Attila University, Hungary in 1999. He obtained his PhD in environmental sciences at the University of Szeged, Hungary under the supervision of Prof. Imre Dékány in 2004. She spent two years as postdoc at the National Autonomous University of Mexico in Prof. David Díaz´s group. Currently she is a professor at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. Her current research interest involves the synthesis and application of metallic and metallic oxide nanoparticles and nanocomposites.
