Dr. Yuanyu Huang received his Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology from Peking University in 2013. After 3 years of postdoctoral training, he joined the Beijing Institute of Technology to establish his group in 2016. He was promoted to the position of tenured Associate Professor in 2020 and full Professor in 2022. Dr. Huang’s primary research interest focuses on the development of nucleic acid therapeutics, including designing and optimizing nucleic acid molecules (siRNA, mRNA, etc.) and exploring innovative drug delivery systems and their translational medicine applications in the management of diverse diseases. He has published >90 peer-reviewed journal articles and >10 book chapters and has filed >20 patents.
