Prof. Dr. Antonello Troncone

Antonello Troncone is Full Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at the Department of Civil Engineering of University of Calabria (Italy). Since 2010 he teaches 'Slope stability anaysis' and since 2014 'Engineering measures for slope stabilization' at the University of Calabria. He is author of many papers focusing on the following research mainstreams: deformation and failure mechanisms of slopes; progressive failure of slopes; landslide mobility; rainfall-induced landslides; analysis of landslides using the material point method.
