Carlos Elvira received his BSc in Chemistry from the Heriot-Watt University in 1992, and PhD in Chemistry from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1997. He had worked as a Tenured Scientist at the Spanish National Research Council from 2005 to 2021. Then, in 2021, he was promoted to Scientific Researcher at the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology until now. His research interests include macromolecular chemistry, polymeric biomaterials, polymerization, stimuli sensitive polymers, drug delivery.
