Prof. Jui-Hung Liu

Jui-Hung Liu received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from National Sun-Yat-Sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He is now an associate professor in the M.E. Dept. at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology since 2015, where his research activities focus on wind turbine design, control, O&M, and load analysis. He also has another 9 years of work experience in the wind industry in developing wind turbine controllers, SCADA, and O&M strategies. Jui-Hung is also an observer member of the IEC TC88 MT1 concerning wind turbine design standard maintenance, especially as it pertains to tropical cyclone (typhoon) issues.
