Paweł B. Szymański, PhD.DSc. is a pharmacist. He obtained his PhD in Pharmacy at the Medical University of Lodz in 2006. He has started work at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Drug Analysis and Radiopharmacy at Faculty of Pharmacy as a Head of Laboratory of Radiopharmacy. In 2018 he became a full professor at the Medical University of Lodz, where he heads the lab of “Laboratory of Radiopharmacy”. From 2020, he was the Head of the Department of Radiobiology and Radiation Protection at the Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Warsaw, Poland. His research interests are directed towards the search of new molecules with biological activities in cancers and neurodegenerative disorders. . He is a member of the board of Polish Society of Nuclear Medicine, Polish Pharmaceutical Society, Polish Pharmaceutical Chamber and Polish Society of Medical Chemistry.
