Wojciech Szczolko, Ph.D., works as an assistant professor at the Chair and Department of Chemical Technology of Drugs at PUMS. He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Stanislaw Sobiak. His scope of scientific work embraces medicinal chemistry. His areas of interest are the synthesis of porphyrazines and phthalocyanines and the chemistry of the morpholino and pyrrol-1-yl systems. The scientific workshop is an organic synthesis combined with a suitable analytical apparatus, mainly spectroscopic (1H and 13C NMR, MS UV-Vis, FL IR) and chromatographic (HPLC, TLC).
