**Khadijeh Alibabaei** is a Data Analyst and AI Consultant at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, where she contributes to European research initiatives in artificial intelligence, federated learning, and scientific image analysis. She holds two doctoral degrees: a PhD in Mathematics (Algebra) from the University of Porto, Portugal (2013–2017), and a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Universidade da Beira Interior, Portugal (2019–2023). Her doctoral research in algebra led to significant contributions to the theory of pseudovarieties of finite nilpotent groups. Her second doctoral research focused on the application of deep learning methods in agriculture. Dr. Alibabaei's research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, federated learning, and trustworthy AI, with applications in environmental science, agriculture, and aquatic sciences. She has made significant contributions to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) through the AI4EOSC and iMagine projects, where she develops, deploys, and optimises AI and machine learning workflows on cloud-based research infrastructures. Her expertise in federated learning includes the design of privacy-preserving machine learning systems that enable secure collaboration across institutions while protecting sensitive data. She has also contributed to the development o
