Zhang Yi received the Ph.D. degree in mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 1994. He is currently serving as a professor at the Machine Intelligence Laboratory, College of Computer Science, Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. Moreover, his research interests include Neural Networks and Big Data.
