Prof. Dr. Loredana Cifaldi is an Associate Professor of General Pathology at the Department of Clinical Sciences and Translational Medicine, University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Rome, Italy, where she was an  Assistant Professor (RTDb-tenure track) from July 2020 to July 2023. in addition, she is a Research Fellow at the  Academic Department of Pediatrics, Research Unit of Congenital and Perinatal Infection, Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesu. She graduated from the University of Camerino with a Degree in Biology in 1997. In 2017, she completed studies at the School of Specialization in Clinical Biochemistry, at the University of Turin. Among scientific articles, she has published 50 papers, totaling 2080 citations (h-index = 23, Scopus data from 18 January 2024).
