Delyana Marinova Manasieva graduated from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” with a Master’s in Chemistry and Physics. Afterward, she earned her Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Delyana Marinova is an associate professor at the Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. She started her science career here as an assistant professor in 2004 and was promoted to her current position in 2019. Her areas of interest include electrochemical experiments with model battery cells—hybrid, lithium, and sodium cells; Raman spectroscopy; inorganic crystal chemistry and X-ray diffraction analysis; matrix infrared spectroscopy; and crystallization and sedimentation methods for the synthesis of inorganic salts-hydrates and mixed crystals.
