Yang LIU received her Doctor of Biochemical Engineering degree from Tianjin University in 2006. Until now, she has worked on her teaching and research career at Shantou University as a full Professor. In 2014, she earned the outstanding young teacher training program of institutions of higher learning in Guangdong province. Her research interests include bioseparation, polysaccharides-based biomedical materials, marine active substances, and biocatalysis. Her work has led to the publication of over 70 research papers and over 20 patents.
