Dr. Md Mokhlesur Rahman received his Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2011 from the University of Wollongong, Australia. After his Ph.D., he took a Research Fellow position in 2011 and a prestigious Alfred Deakin Fellow in 2015 in the nanotechnology group, Institute for Frontier Materials (IFM), Deakin University, Australia. Currently, Dr. Rahman is a Senior Research Fellow and a Chief Investigator of the ARC (Australian Research Council) Research Hub in New Safe and Reliable Energy Storage and Conversion Technologies at IFM, Deakin University. He is an expert in smart nano and circular energy materials synthesis, characterization at the nanoscale, new battery material and battery cell design, and electrochemical performance evaluation by adopting the most advanced ex-situ and in situ techniques. He has special skills in fabricating a wide range of devices such as coin-type full cells, pouch cells, and half-cells (Li-ion, Na-ion, K-ion, dual-ion, and Li-S batteries). He has published more than 70 articles with a commendable total citation of around 11,000.
