Prof. Dr. Ali Günen is a Professor in the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Iskenderun Technical University (İSTE). His research areas primarily focus on surface engineering, boriding, aluminizing and other thermochemical coating methods; high-temperature wear, oxidation and corrosion behavior; nickel-based superalloys (Inconel 625, 718, etc.) produced by wire arc addition manufacturing (WAAM), stainless steels and high-entropy alloys. He has numerous SCI/SCI-Expanded indexed publications and highly cited studies.
