Dr. Carlo Airola received his degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Turin in 2019. He is currently completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome. His main research focuses on liver diseases, hepatocellular carcinoma, and the interaction between intestinal microbiota and the gut-liver axis.
