Vid Kersic is a Junior Researcher at the Institute of Informatics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, Slovenia, where he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. He is also a member of the R&D group Blockchain Lab:UM. His research focuses on decentralized systems and artificial intelligence, with particular interests in blockchain and distributed ledger technologies, decentralized artificial intelligence, decentralized identity, verifiable computing, and verifiable machine learning.
