Héctor Rangel-Villalobos is a Professor at the Molecular Genetics Research Institute, La Ciénega University Center, University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He received his M.Sc. in Human Genetics and PhD in Human Genetics from the same university. His principal research interests focus on human population genetics based on molecular markers used for human identification purposes.
