Ravi Fotedar is a Professor of Sustainable Aquaculture at the School of Molecular and Life Sciences, Curtin University, Bentley, WA, Australia. He holds a BSc (honours), an MSc in aquaculture and an MPhil in aquatic ecology from the University of Delhi (India) and a Ph.D. in crustacean nutrition and an MBA from Curtin University. His main research areas include (a) investigating various feed additives in aquadiets for improved immunocompetence and sustainability, (b) nutrient recycling in integrated aquaculture systems, (c) physiological adaptations of aquatic species when reared in inland saline waters and (d) use of biotechnological innovations to improve the water quality.
