I am 46 years of age, a trained public health scientist and associate professor currently working as a research leader in public health at the University Health Care Research Centre, Faculty of Medicine and Health, Örebro University in Sweden. Previously, I worked nine years as an epidemiologist with mainly public health surveillance, specifically adolescent mental health, which has come to be my main research interest. Other research interests that I have within public health is implementation of health promoting practice in primary healthcare, health dialogue interventions in primary healthcare and a sustainable working life for nurses. Part of my previous research interests are also biological and health effects of non-ionizing non-thermal radiation from various manmade wireless devices such as mobile phones. The latter is the field in which I have been the most productive as a researcher.
