Aidyn Kydyrmanov (Ph.D., Professor) has organized large-scale field and laboratory experimental studies to isolate strains of ortho and paramyxoviruses from avian and mammalian hosts. His main areas of research are related to the ecology, evolution, and molecular genetic variability in animal viruses; the role of viruses in infectious pathology; and the analysis of the causes of mass mortality of individual representatives of the fauna in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
