Dr. Afshin Maleki is currently working as a Professor at the Department of Environmental Health Engineering, School of Health, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, Sanandaj, Iran. He completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Health Engineering from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He was also appointed as a Lecturer, Dean, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Afshin Maleki received honors including Best Researcher and Exemplary Lecturer at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. He has supervised 40 MSc. and 10 Ph.D. theses in Environmental Health Engineering, all of them in Water and Wastewater Engineering Subjects and Pollution Control. His area of research interest focuses on environmental pollution control and monitoring, waste treatment, AOPs, and nanotechnology.
