Dr. Richard Price is a professor and head of Fixed Prosthodontics at the Department of Dental Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS, Canada. He is also a professor of prosthodontics and cross-appointed in the School of Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie University. He specializes in dental curing lights and the photopolymerization of resins. His search topics are mainly focused on dental resins, curing lights, infection control, and AI. He has four projects: 1. Population-Based Comparison of the Long-Term Survival and Costs of Posterior Amalgam and Resin Composite Restorations; 2. Developing a New Standard for Reporting the Light Output from Dental Curing Lights; 3. Defining the Requirements for a Commercial Device for Assessing the Adequacy of the Polymerisation of Light Cured Polymeric Resin Materials; 4. An Evaluation of Six Light-Emitting Diode Curing Lights to Cure Two Composites.
