Marlon Navia received the B.Eng. degree in Informatics Systems from the Universidad Técnica de Manabí, Portoviejo, and the M.S. degree in Computer Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Informatics from the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. He has been university professor since 2008, and has leaded a research group by four years. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, computer networks, and the Internet of Things.
