Dariush has a BSc in “Applied Chemistry” from Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran (2013) and an MSc in “Inorganic Chemistry” from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran (2015). He achieved highest grade in his master for fulfilling his thesis with the title of “Synthesis of Nano-Structured Supramolecular compounds from Mn(II) metal ion and Their Application in the Synthesis of Nano-Metal Oxides” under the supervision of Dr. Janet Soleimannejad. The outcome of this research was a high-quality article which was published in 2015 and lead to growing his interest in biological applications of supramolecular compounds specifically Coordination Polymers. In 2016, he started his Ph.D. in University of Tehran under the supervision of Dr. Janet Soleimannejad and Dr. Patricia Horcajada. He participated in two international conferences and for the first time he presented “The Application of Nano-MIL-100 as a Platform for Delivery of Tetracycline and Doxycycline”. As a result, his research in the delivery of antibiotics was published in a high-impact international journal. Recently in collaboration with IMDEA Energy Institute (Mostoles-Madrid, Spain), he investigates how to design and modify Coordination Polymers for using them as cutaneous delivery systems.
