Yongping Bao received his Ph.D. from the University of East Anglia in 1996, received his M.Med. from Harbin Medical University in 1987 and received his B.Med. from Harbin Medical University in 1983. He began his career at Harbin Medical University as a Lecturer for four years. After his PhD, he worked as a Research Scientist and Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Food Research, Norwich. Currently, he is working as a Professor at the University of East Anglia. His research focuses on chemo-preventive activities of dietary phytochemicals.
