Dr. Martin S. Lipsky is an adjunct instructor with the School of Public Health and a member of Portland State’s Institute of Aging. He teaches courses on men's health and the health aspects of aging. Formerly the founding chair of Family Medicine at Northwestern University and the Chancellor of the Roseman University of Health Sciences, Dr. Lipsky is part of an interdisciplinary team representing multiple institutions that study issues related to health disparities, men’s health, aging, and the education of health professionals. Dr. Lipsky has written several books on primary care and aging. He is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical Outcomes Management, Internal Medicine Alert, and Disease-a-Month.
