Prof. Dr. Liuguo Yin received his M.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2002 and 2005, respectively. From March 2005 to March 2007, he was a research assistant at the School of Aerospace at Tsinghua University. From April 2007 to March 2008, he was an ERCIM post-doctoral fellow at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway. Since 2009, he has been at the School of Information Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include channel coding, joint source-channel coding, aerospace communications, wireless multimedia communication systems, and quantum secure direct communications. He is a member of the IEEE Communications Society.
