Pasquale Marziliano is Associate Professor of Forest Planning, Tree Measurement and Silviculture at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria, Italy. He holds a PhD in Arboriculture for wood production from the University of Basilicata. His man research interests are in the fields of forestry growth and yield, forestry management, silvicultural prevention from forest fires, forest dynamics and natural regeneration post-fire, the silviculture of exotic forest species, the silviculture and management of forest plantations, forest management in protected conservation areas and the effects of standards' density on coppice structure development.
