Eugenio Velasco-Ortega received his Bachelor's and MD in Medicine and Surgery at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Seville. He is a specialist in Stomatology. Eugenio Velasco-Ortega is now working as a Professor of Integrated Adult Dentistry and Gerodontology at the University of Seville. In addition, he also serves as a Director of the Master's Program in Oral Implantology at the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Seville, as a Principal Investigator of the Basic and Clinical Research Group in Oral Implantology of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Regional Government of Andalusia, and as well as a President of the Spanish Society of Implants. He has published more than 50 papers in various journals, with his research topics primarily focusing on Dental Implants, Titanium; Implant Dentistry, surface implants, regenerative materials for oral surgery, and bone substitutes in dentistry.
