Prof. Dr. Giuseppe Gargiulo is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University Federico II of Naples, Italy, where he obtained his medical degree, his board certification in Cardiology, and his Ph.D. He received a research grant from EAPCI in 2015 and worked as a Researcher at Bern University Hospital (2015–2019). He has participated in several congresses in cardiology, is a member of several Scientific Societies (ESC, EAPCI, AHA, Italian Society of Cardiology SIC, Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology GISE), has a fellowship from the Italian Society of Cardiology (SIC), serves as a Scientific Committee member of the National Congress of the Italian Society of Interventional Cardiology (GISE), and is a reviewer for many international journals. He is also an Associate Editor for international journals including Eurointervention, the Journal of Cardiovascular Translational Medicine, and Plos One.
