Shanshan Zhao completed his PhD at ecology department in East China Normal University in 2022. Prior to that, he graduated from the Henan Normal University. He joined the school of life sciences as an assistant Research Scientist in 2022. He is mainly engaged in animal ecology and conservation biology. In recent year, he focuses on (1) mechanisms of human activity on animal communities; (2) human wildlife conflicts and mitigation; (3) effects of coastal development (wind farm development and reclamation) on migratory waterbird.
