I am an obstetrician-gynecologist specializing in high-risk pregnancy and maternal-fetal medicine. I am Head of the Gynecology Department and High-Risk Pregnancy Unit at University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment, Burgas, Bulgaria, and I am affiliated with the Faculty of Public Health and Health Care at Burgas State University. My research interests include placental dysfunction, fetal growth restriction, preeclampsia, maternal and fetal biomarkers, pregnancy complications, reproductive medicine, and maternal immunology. My academic work focuses on clinical research and the development of predictive and personalized approaches to the management of high-risk pregnancies. I am also involved in scientific publishing, peer review, and academic teaching in obstetrics and gynecology.
